Rebecca Hannagan

Dr. Rebecca Hannagan is a respected social scientist with over 15 years of progressive experience driving organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and cultural transformation across military and private industry sectors. Adept at bridging strategic vision with tactical execution by diagnosing core issues, designing data-driven solutions, and galvanizing stakeholder commitment, she is passionate about helping high-performing leaders build their teams to create thriving organizational cultures. 

 

Rebecca has been a tenured professor, a defense contractor and consultant, and a federal government employee. She founded True North Advising Group in 2021 and currently serves as CEO and Principal Advisor. 

 

As an ICF Professional Certified Coach (ACC), she provides leadership, executive and team coaching while leveraging tools and assessments to guide individuals and teams toward professional growth and high-performance. She is also a trained Design Thinking facilitator from the Stanford d.school, and has offered workshops and offsites for leaders and teams to successfully tackle some of their most entrenched challenges. 

 

Dr. Hannagan is the author of 19 articles and book chapters, earned a National Science Foundation grant to study citizen decision making in gender diverse groups, was recipient of a campus-wide teaching award, was a Visiting Professor at the Center for Women’s Leadership at Portland State University, and was selected as the first Senior Fellow of Leadership and Ethics at Marine Corps hosted by the Lejeune Leadership Institute.
