Earn Your ICF Advanced Certification in Mentor Coaching (ACMC)

Vanguard XXI is launching a training program built to meet the requirements of ICF's Advanced Certification in Mentor Coaching (ACMC), the credential that formally recognizes a coach as qualified to mentor other coaches toward their own ICF credentials.


This program is for ICF credentialed coaches who want to become recognized mentor coaches themselves, whether to support coaches inside their own organization, mentor candidates pursuing ICF credentials, or add mentor coaching as a formal offering in their own practice.


Vanguard XXI is one of only 30 organizations worldwide holding ICF's Advanced Accreditation in Mentor Coaching, and one of only 12 that deliver it in person.

Program Details

Length: 61 hours (final hour count to be confirmed)

Format: Live and self paced instruction, per ICF ACMC standards

How the ACMC Program Is Structured

  1. At least 60 total contact hours, built around ICF's ACMC education standards.
  2. A minimum of 48 hours of mentor coaching specific education.
  3. Up to 20 percent of hours in resource development.
  4. A 50/50 split between synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
  5. Evaluation tool training included, delivered by Vanguard XXI's ICF PCC and MCC credentialed mentor coaches.
