Kelly Burke
Kelly Poquiz Burke is an Executive Coach (ACC), Keynote Speaker, Podcast Host, and the Founder & CEO of Career Slay. She partners with leaders and organizations to help them gain clarity, build confidence, elevate their communication, and strengthen their influence. Her work centers on helping leaders align their values with their leadership style so they can lead with purpose, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
Kelly brings 14+ years of experience working across global agencies and Fortune 500 consumer brands, where she helped shape billion-dollar brand platforms and led high-visibility, high-pressure campaigns, including Super Bowl activations for Doritos and Avocados From Mexico. Her background gives her a deep understanding of the complex demands placed on modern leaders — and the skills required to navigate them with composure, influence, and strategic clarity.
Her work is inspired by her personal journey of resilience: surviving breast cancer while pregnant during the height of the pandemic. That experience clarified her belief that leadership isn’t just about achievement — it’s about alignment and how we show up when it matters most. Today, she guides leaders in overcoming burnout, expanding emotional intelligence, and cultivating the courage and clarity essential for leading others through transformation.
Kelly is also the host of the Career Slay Podcast, where she explores leadership, reinvention, and sustainable ambition. A sought-after speaker, Kelly has taken the stage at Adweek’s Brandweek, MediaPost, SXSW, and Digital Summit. She holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
