Jason Caldwell grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and began a 32-year journey with the Army when he left home in 1991 to attend West Point. He retired as a "Full Bird" Colonel after 28 years of active duty, having completed multiple overseas tours and lived in 12 states. The leadership roles of the past 35 years continue to shape how he leads today.

In 2007 Jason specialized as a Simulation Operations Officer. While every assignment left its mark, his 2011 posting to the Army's Research and Analysis Center (TRAC) in Monterey, California, proved foundational. There he led the research team modeling population sentiment in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, an experience that opened his mind to human, social, cultural, and behavioral (HSCB) modeling.

As a Lieutenant Colonel, Jason served as Chief of the National Simulation Center's Futures Division, leading Army engineers in developing next generation capabilities, and later as the Center's Chief of Operations. After promoting to Colonel, he became Director of the Joint Multinational Simulation Center in Germany, leading allied exercises for the US military and NATO partners from 2018 to 2020, and closed his military career as Director of Simulation for the Army's Flight School at Fort Rucker, Alabama.

After retiring in 2023, Jason returned to his operational roots leading Global K9 Protection Group as Vice President of Cargo Operations, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Chief Operations Officer for US Operations. In October 2025 he committed himself full time to Simulacra AI, joining business partner Hunter Kincaid and renewing the passion for modeling and simulation he spent 16 years building in the Army.

Jason commissioned as an Infantry Officer from West Point in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and later earned a Master of Science in Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulations from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the US Naval War College, and an MBA from Auburn University. His honors include the Bronze Star, two Legion of Merit Medals, and induction into the Order of St. Michael.
