The Program
Passion, purpose, and precision. A white belt mentality willing to learn again. A growth mindset rooted in the warrior ethos. This is what it means to practice a life of excellence, and it is what Warrior Scholar Brazilian Jiu Jitsu forges in you.
Miyamoto Musashi wrote in The Book of Five Rings that every warrior should carry a pen and a sword. Thucydides called for warrior statesmen. The world has always known what we are only beginning to remember. The leader who trains only the mind goes into battle half formed. The leader who trains only the body has strength without wisdom. It is the one who forges the mind, the body, and the heart together who is truly prepared to lead.
Helio Gracie built an entire philosophy on this truth. “Always assume that your opponent is going to be bigger, stronger, and faster than you,” he said, “so that you learn to rely on technique, timing, and leverage rather than brute strength.” That is leadership. That is also Jiu Jitsu. They are the same discipline wearing different clothes.
Most leadership development hands you a workbook and a conference room and calls it transformation. Warrior Scholar BJJ hands you a mat, an opponent, and the truth. There is nowhere to hide once the talk stops and the work begins.
Three months come before the mat ever does. One on one ICF PCC executive coaching to sharpen your mind. To examine your character. To prepare the leader who is about to be tested. Then comes the weekend, taught by BJJ Champions and a Master Professor who have given a lifetime to mastering the gentle art and have nothing left to prove, only something left to give.
Royce Gracie put it plainly. “A black belt only covers two inches of your ass. You have to cover the rest.” Three months of coaching is how you cover the rest. It is the inner work that makes the outer work possible.
Jigoro Kano, the founder of Judo, is remembered for asking to be buried in his white belt. The man who built an entire martial art, who held the highest rank his own system could offer, wanted the world to remember him as a student to the end. That is not humility for its own sake. That is wisdom. The day you believe you have arrived is the day you stop growing.
This is where the warrior soul gets tested and the mind gets sharpened. Character is not discovered in comfort. It is forged under pressure, when you are tired, when you are overmatched, and when you choose to engage anyway. That is leadership in a boardroom. That is leadership on a mat. There is no difference.
Who Belongs on This Mat
Maybe you have always wanted to practice a lifetime sport, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been calling your name for years. This is where you start.
Maybe you have trained in BJJ for a few years and are starting to see the correlation between the martial way and your professional growth. This is where you go deeper.
Maybe you are a lifetime practitioner looking for a new way to challenge yourself, both in your daily leadership and on your daily mat. This is where you find it.
“Life is like martial arts,” Anthony has said for thirty years on the mat. “It requires disciplined obedience and practice. Every day, regardless of what belt you wear, requires a white belt mentality to learn and grow.” That mentality is the foundation of every black belt leader. It is also the foundation of this program.
Bring a Colleague
No leader forges character alone. Bring a colleague with you, personal or professional, and you will both receive two 75-minute team coaching sessions with Dr. Randall, built into the package at no additional cost. The work you do together here will not stay on the mat. It will walk back into your office with you.
Payment
The investment is $5,879. A $1,850 deposit, non-refundable, secures your seat at registration. The balance is due at the close of your second month of coaching.
Show Up Ready
This is not a retreat. It is a forge. You need to show up ready to learn, ready to be uncomfortable, and ready to discover exactly who you are when the pressure becomes real.
Passion. Purpose. Precision. Practice makes permanent.
